New Years Eve! 2009!

Well today is the last day of 2008, EVER! Can you believe it? I can't. Gosh, this year just rolled past me. Lucky for me that I documented most of this year in pictures or else I wouldn't remember how this year passed by so fast. Well it all started in January, finals, my birthday, swim season, ap tests, school year ends, summer of senior year, susan's birthday, fall semester, thanksgiving, and winter break and here we are. ACTUALLY, that's very SHORT! :(. Oh well, I'm sure there was more to 2008 :) and I'm sure there will be even more to 2009! YEAH :)

Here is what my day was like in a nutshell
-woke up at 8
-went out to 99 Ranch Market to buy food
-went home and worked on gov paper
-played a bunch of random flash games
-ate lunch
-planned for benihana
-played soul caliber for the wii. It is an okay game, but it's a wii game, it's not very addictive and gets boring easily. I'm going to return it tomorrow and get my Order Up! game :)
-went to Benihana at 5. Benihana was fun, entertainment wise, but not food-wise. 25 dollars for a couple pieces of chicken and shrimp is definitely not worth it, but it was interesting watching Tim (our chef) prepare our food. That is how they get you. They do fancy tricks to make you forget that you are getting little portions :(. Scratch that off of my list of places to go for my birthday. I had a lot of fun because Susan went with me :). It was officially a date :), even though we sat next to strangers. At least they were friendly strangers. Anyways, I'm glad that I got to take Susan to Benihana for her first time<3.
-went to Arby's and then Starbucks. Susan and I were just being hobos and just wandering around because we had nothing else to do after. Plus, I was still hungry so we got 4 for $5 arby melts. Even though they were very unsettling to eat, it still got me full :).
-took Susan home. All in all, it was a really magical night. I love just making jokes and having fun with you Susan :). I always feel really comfortable around you and I know I can always just joke around and have a great time with you. You're just a fun person to be around. I love youu<3.
-got home and ate apples and cake :).
-watched Miley Cyrus's MTV New Years Special and now I'm watching Carson Daily's New Year's Special because there are performances of Katy Perry, T.I., Elton John and such :). New York looks so much fun. Well, freezing in 20 degree temperature does not seem fun, but heck, it is only once a year RIGHT? It'd be an unforgettable experience to say the least. Well I am making a resolution to go to New York Times Square next year :).

Well as I promised, here is my New Year's Resolution List
1) Be a better boyfriend and person
2) Be smarter
3) Be more successful
4) Work harder, never be lazy
5) Be more productive, never have down time
6) Eat less junk food, work out 3-5 times a week, swim practice when scheduled :)
7) Cherish time, live life, document life as much as possible (meaning take more pictures :))
8) Be more outgoing and assertive towards people and issues
9) Play less video games and get a job! Make money!
10) Once college rolls around, get 4.0 :)
11) Read more, learn more, be more well-rounded
12) Be more musical, ie. learn how to play piano :)
13) Love and be the best boyfriend to my girlfriend<3
14) Be more optimistic and never be in a bad mood or snap at others
15) Save more money
16) Less panic attacks?

Susan, I just want to say that I love you and that this next year just means another 365 days of passionate and everlasting love heading towards your way. You can be sure that, despite any obstacle we may face, I will try to change for the better and make sure that we get through it, together, hand in hand. Let's make 2009 another awesome year. You seriously make each and every year, for the past 4 years, really memorable and meaningful.

Eve of the Eve of New Years

-woke up 7, but went back to sleep until 10 :)
-skipped breakfast as usual, then worked on the gov paper
-talked to mah love when she woke up :)
-ate lunch
-went back to work on my gov paper.
-went out to wachovia and wamu in brea because my dad wanted to get a CD statement. My little blue hyundai felt like it was going to fly because it is so small and I was going 80 on the freeway. I seriously need a heavier and bigger car.
-practice 4-6. FINALLY, the water was warm enough to swim in. Alex, Tesia, and I just made up our own swim sets because Coach Steph didn't even talk to us during practice. Oh well, I got to work on my butterfly for mostly the whole time. Swimming is very relaxing :).
-ate dinner
-played Sonic Unleashed on the wii with my sister. I mainly had to do all of the missions for her because, ironically, sonic was hard x_0.
-sat here and just surfed the internet while working on my gov paper.

I really wish that there was some party to go to tomorrow. I never got to ring in the new year with my friends. I want that New Years kiss Susan<3. Secretly, I want to get boozed, party, and just enjoy life and have fun. I'm crossing my fingers for Susan and I's benihana date tomorrow. I hope it works out :), and I'll be content.

Oh by the way, no more Chinese concert because it is too expensive to take my whole family. Plus, I don't think it is worth it to pay an adult ticket (31 dollars) for my sister. I think she would get bored sitting for 2 and a half hours.

Well I missed you Susan today :(. Hopefully, we can hang out more this week. I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm looking forward to ringing in the new year with you though. 2009! YEAH! Graduation, birthday, driver license?, college letters, new cellphone, summer, susan's birthday, fall college semester, thanksgiving break, then the holiday will roll here again and we will be back at where we started. Hey, I'm not complaining. 2009 sounds like a pretty cool year :). I shall be positive and optimistic, which is one of my New Year Resolutions. I'll post my complete list tomorrow. Bye bye.

First Day of the Last Week of Winter Break

-woke up at 10, I guess I just didn't feel like waking up today :/
-went to the post office to turn in my CMC app. Yes! I'm finally done. Gosh.
-went out to buy sister's birthday cake at Hong Kong Supermarket (King's Bakery)
-bought boba for my sister and me
-got a key at the locksmith in the same plaza
-went home and talked to my love for a bit<3>:)
-looked at the Divine Performing Arts: 2009 Chinese New Year Spectacular. I'm still debating on whether or not to go.
-sitting, here, drinking ice cold water with a bag of lays next to me (it's tempting the hell out of me), and blogging while talking to my love<3

To my hunny: I had fun today<3. I hope that we get to spend more time this week. You're always the most fun and sweet person to hang out with. I never have to worry about drama or being in an awkward situation with you. Everything flows between us like a river :). I just absolutely love being around you<33. And don't forget that I'm always here for you babe.

Souplantation and Puente Hills Mall Hangout

-woke up at 9, I really tried to wake up earlier, but it is harder said than done :(
-called grandma in China and said farewell to grandpa, then lit incense to make sure his soul travels safely to the other world. My prayers are with you.

-went to Souplantation @ 12:30ish with Susan<3, Wayne, Jessica, Jessica's brother, Franceska and Elina
-went to the mall to see if there are any good movies to watch
-walked around and shopped at Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Pacsun
-went to target to buy my sister's birthday present - a pokemon figurine set :)
-Wayne took Jessica, Susan, and me home
-came home and changed into warm clothes :)

Love you Susan :), I had fun today. It's been like 3 days since we got to see each other and hang out. I hope that we get to spend more time and cherish this last week of break together.

A Mixture of Productiveness and Unproductiveness

-woke up at 9
-worked on analytical essay and gov paper
-played nostale with susan
-ate lunch (curry chicken, yum :))
-researched gov paper - the prompt and resources that urbien gave us are so random x_0
-went to daniels house @ 4, played fallout 3 until marc came at 5
-played fallout 3 and just hung out until 7
-went to in-n-out and ate double double with fries :), so good yet I felt my arteries clogging up
-went back to daniels house and played fallout 3 until 10
-blogging while eating grapes and goldfish :)

Today was productive because I actually worked on my essays, but it was unproductive because I played fallout 3 and video games for a good deal of my day. Oh well, tomorrow is work day! I hope...

I really missed Susan today though. She went out to the Montebello Mall and I just stayed home and worked on my essays. I hope that we can spend time next week and just cherish this last week of winter break. I love you Susan, always and forever<33

After Christmas 2008

Well it is the day after Christmas and it was quite interesting to say the least.
-woke up at 9
-played bleach on the wii with sister
-skipped breakfast
-played nostale (I tried working on my gov paper, but blah)
-went out to Walmart @ 11 to pick up pictures
-shopped at Walmart for my sister's 7th birthday present
-went to Toys R Us to shop for sister's present (part 2)
-went to Good Will and found a new pikachu doll that my sister wanted
-went to Carl's Jr and bought two jalapeno burgers, chili cheese fries, and a medium drink (all compliments thanks to coupons :))
-went home and ate my food while playing nostale :)
-played nostale with Susan until 4
-went to practice. When I arrived, only coach Brian was there and I saw a bunch of little kids who jumped into the water and shouted, "OMG ITS SO COLD!", so instinctively, I concluded that the water was..cold :). Eventually, coach made me get into the water and it was FREEZING! It was like jumping into a pool full of ice x_x. We ended up swimming for 30 minutes only because when the coach got in with us, even he couldn't handle it. So, practice ended at 4:30 instead of 6. I took Alex home and I drove home, cold as heck.
-ate dinner and played my NCAA Football All-Play for the wii. Gosh, that was one of the worst games that I played for the wii. They really slaughtered the whole football aspect of the game. The players looked really round and the gameplay was horrible. I'm returning that trash tomorrow.
-sat in my cozy room with the heat stream on :). So, my room was at least 75-80 degrees while the rest of my house was 60 degrees or something. At least that is better than the 30 degree water -_-'.
-watched my sister play Club Penguin for a while
-learned the basics of piano such as reading music, notes, and I learned how to play Brother John, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and London Bridge. I'm mighty proud of myself :)

I'm just sad that Susan and I did not get to go out today. It is okay though, because we're saving our "going-out" days for next week :). Keke<3

Christmas 2008

Christmas 2008!

Btw, this picture was taken at lunch. My sister looks pissed, my mom looks lost, and I look very disgruntled with my simpsons slippers :)

-woke up at 9 (I'm trying to get better at waking up earlier :))
-ate fried rice and played bleach on the wii with sister
-went to Market World, that korean super market across the street from In-n-out and bought food for hotpot
-went home and played nostale for a little bit
-ate hotpot with parents - there was lamb, fish balls, beef balls, vegetables, and lots of shrimp (unfortunately, I ate too much shrimp and had a really bad stomachache after :( )
-played nostale until 3, then my internet crashed so I went off of the computer :)
-cleaned up room and played madden on the wii
-played nostale again and surfed the web
-ate dinner - rice with meat and vegetables, very simple stuff :)
-Susan came back @ 7! Happy me because I missed her so :)
-played nostale with Susan, but it was laggy plus there were stupid underworld devils that were super strong and respawned out of nowhere x_x
-taking a break from nostale and blogging and sitting

Overall, this christmas consisted of video games and food :). I wish Susan was home though because I wanted to talk to her, but she went to Chinatown.

Anyways, tomorrow should be interesting because it is after christmas sales! I highly doubt that I am going to go shopping, but it should be interesting nonetheless. I want to spend time with Susan though :(. I have practice tomorrow also. Anyways, we will see how tomorrow goes and how productive it will be compared to today. I hope that I actually work on those darned essays.

-watched my sister play Club Penguin - you know that game really is addicting, I find myself playing sometimes too. It gets you into the christmas spirit too because of all of the cheesy music and the adorable penguins waddling everywhere. Good stuff :)

Recap of the First Week of Winter Break

Well the first week of my winter break of 2008 has been pretty good.

Let's recap of the week :)

Monday - I collected money from people for Susan's camera and hung out with Wayne.

Tuesday - Made arrangements for Wednesday (4 years). Went Secret Santa shopping with Susan, Wayne, and Jessica.

Wednesday - 4 Years Anniversary! I delivered Susan flowers, hot co-co, and pasta at her practice. Then, we had dinner at Macaroni Grill. Good stuff :)

Thursday - Susan and I went to Disneyland for our Belated 4 Years Anniversary Celebration. She planned the whole thing though, and it was a blast because we got to just relax and enjoy being a couple :)

Friday - Jeff's "Veggie Party". We watched Lakers lose, unfortunately. But, it was great fun because we all got to hang out and eat vegetarian lasagna. Of course, Susan made it fun because she is my companion to parties :)

Saturday - Yearbook party. I finally gave Susan her camera and her reaction was priceless as you can tell from the facebook pictures. I'm really glad to have done it for her though. She deserved that camera for such a long time :). The yearbook party itself was very fun because we all got to play hide and seek, open secret Santa presents, play Cranium, and eat. Very fun, plus Susan was there so it was extra-fun!

Sunday - Diya's BBQ. It was okay, it was mostly chill. We ate BBQ, played pool, toured model houses, and "attempted" to play the wii. My bad for not bringing the sensor bar :). The only thing that was missing was my beloved Susan because I felt empty without her.

All in all, it was a very good week. Unfortunately, when I came home from Diya's BBQ today, I found out that my grandfather (on my mom's side) died due to stomach cancer. Turns out that he had stomach cancer for a while, but thought that bleeding when going number 2 was natural because he had a bad intenstine. However, that morning, he broke out in a large sweat and there was blood on his bed, in the bathroom, and on his clothes. Before my relatives could rush him to the hospital, he passed away.

My heart and prayers go out to you grandfather. May you rest in peace forever and find peace and happiness in the afterlife. You deserve it, grandfather. My prayers are with you. RIP 12.21.08

4 Years Anniversary<3

Well this 4 years anniversary was a blast! I couldn't have asked for more because Susan and I got a day each to celebrate :), now that is equality for you, mutual love, call it what you will<3. style="font-weight: bold;">Johnson's Day (December 17, 2008)

In the morning, I went to Susan's drumline practice and gave her angel hair pasta and a cup of hot coco with 4 glittery roses :). It was raining that day like crazy, but I managed to get to school and deliver her the goods. It was a pain getting home because of the bad weather, but it was all worth it.

At night, we went to Macaroni Grill because we initially planned to go to Cheesecake Factory, but didn't because of the bad weather and no ride. We then planned to go to Benihana, but they were closed due to renovation. Talk about bad luck, huh? Anyways, we ended up going to Macaroni Grill, and I don't regret it one bit. I had a coupon for a free appetizer and I got the lasagna while Susan got the Shrimp Scampi. Susan, being the awesome bargainer she is, got the Chef's special which included lasagna, cesear salad, and Italian Sorbet, talk about a good deal eh?

I gave her the letter that I wrote, the two earrings that I bought, and the promise ring :)


In the end, we didn't finish anything because there was SO much food! I couldn't finish anything. We both got dominated by the overwhelming Italian food. After, we walked under one umbrella, in the rain, to Target to shop. We walked around and then my mother picked us up.

Talk about a magical and intimate day :) <3 style="font-weight: bold;">Susan's Day (December 18, 2008)
Susan, being the more creative one, told me that she was going to surprise me and picked me up in the morning with Jules and Franceska. Instead of blindfolding me (which would have made me really bored and paranoid), she told me to close my eyes when we got to Disneyland! I opened my eyes to a parking lot, so I was still confused. We got there and I realized that the security guard at the parking lot was wearing a Disney pin, so I knew where we were :).

Long story short, we spent the whole day there just relaxing and going on rides. It was my second time there so it was pretty fun. Anyways, we went on the following: - (in no particular order)
-pirates of the carribean
-haunted mansion
-space mountain (2 times)
-mattahorn
-it's a small world
-maliboomer
-carousel
-indiana jones
-star tours

Then, we watched the Fantasmic show and the fireworks :). It was really nice because we got good seats at both shows. Plus, we even made both shows :). Anyways, it was a really nice night and a great way to celebrate/end our 4th anniversary.
